HELL & BACK, is Ireland's Toughest Physical & Mental Endurance Challenge, specifically designed and created by our award-winning outdoor specialists to push your physical and mental boundaries to the limit.

And now you can complete the H&B 7KM course together as a family!!! Taking on the Adult 7KM course, your family must work together to overcome the all obstacles in your path. Set in the magnificent Killruddery Estate, with stunning views of Dublin Bay from the Little Sugar Loaf mountain, the course combines lots of man-made obstacles with Killruddery's famous natural terrain, including rivers, mountains, bogs and forests, to create a uniquely terrifying adventure and the ultimate family challenge!!!

Course Distance: 7KM

HELL & BACK Family is a grueling off-road 7KM course along man-made trail runs and mountain paths. You'll have to progress over, under, around and through our infamous HELL & BACK obstacles, including Kinetica Ice Baths, Londis Water Jump, Buplex Hell Slide, Tipp Water Half Pipe and 2fm Wall. Don't worry - you can walk around any obstacle you are not comfortable in doing.

Run Together as a Family

This ultimate family challenge is open to all family members aged 10 and over (born on 10th Sept 2007 or earlier). One adult can bring up to 4 children with them, two adults can bring up to 8 kids etc. An adult is classified as someone aged 16 or over (born on 10th Sept 2001 or earlier).


Prices start from €53 per adult (aged 16+) and €27 per child (aged 10+) and include Multi-Functional Scarf/Buff for all Finishers and Personal Accident Cover. Click here for full breakdown of the prices.

Can't Take Part?

If your family is registered but cannot take part, you can pass your registration onto another family to replace you. They must then ask for your Wristband at the Reg Tent but sign & print their own name.

Read up our suggestions on what to wear...and, more importantly, what NOT to wear! Remember DUCT TAPE & CABLE TIES are not allowed on your shoes as they come off too easily and thus become a danger to the livestock on the farm. Make sure you TRIPLE KNOT your laces instead.
